So last night I attended the Local Natives concert at the Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge, LA. I have heard sooo many great things about this band since some of my friends saw them at Bonnaroo in 2011. So, I wanted to check out their live performance for myself. I had heard a little bit of their new album “Hummingbird.” But, I was more familiar with their older one, “Gorilla Manor.”

About a week ago, I decided skipping school and driving to Houston and back in one day to go see Ellie Goulding in concert was an absolutely fantastic idea.
(more…)So, I decided to start a blog. Anyone who knows me knows that I have a lot to say about a lot of different things. And by “a lot,” I mean more than is socially acceptable to have in a Facebook status update. Not only that, but I’m always looking for new and creative ways to procrastinate from schoolwork. Procrastination is one of my greatest talents. So, when I’m bored or something particularly interesting has happened in my life, or I don’t feel like focusing on academia, I’ll be sure to post it here! And even if no one reads it, well, like I said, it beats homework.
So step 1: Start a blog – Done! Step 2: Post random thoughts or share stories that most likely no one will read? Stay tuned…
