Brick Lane Market: East London’s Best Market That’s Actually 5 Markets All Rolled into 1

Marvelous Markets pt 5: Brick Lane Market, East London

It has been a MINUTE since I’ve done a market post! But this may be THE SINGLE BEST market in London.

I recently went to London (which is like the GOAT when it comes to markets, in my opinion) and checked out yet another amazing markets the city has to offer – Brick Lane Market in East London. Every market that I’ve been to in London has been so fun and unique, and Brick Lane was no exception! If you’re looking for a cool market in London, or even just a free activity in London, you should definitely head to Brick Lane! Especially if you’re into markets with vintage clothing and food. Plus, there’s parts of the market open SEVEN DAYS A WEEK! That’s right – you can check out Brick Lane Market whether you’re in London on a weekend or a weekday!

Let’s take a lil (virtual) walk around Brick Lane together!

Camden Market

Marvelous Markets, pt. 4: Camden Market – London

Camden Market, London

Ah, Camden Market. Where do I even begin? Oh, I know…this is one of my favorite things to do in London. I make sure to stop by every time I’m there. Honestly I’d go as far as saying it’s the best market I’ve ever been to. And that’s saying a lot, because I’ve been to a LOT of great markets. London has a lot of amazing markets which are all great if you’re looking for free activities in London. But Camden Market is one of my favorites!

A maze of food, souvenirs, vintage, trinkets….my actual happy place. There’s something for everyone here, and you could all day wandering around the web of vendor stalls and shops.

Marvelous Markets, pt. 3: Torvehallerne – Copenhagen

The Torvehallerne Market is one of the best things to do in Copenhagen

Torvehallerne Market. I touched on this market a little bit in my 2-day itinerary for Copenhagen, but I wanted to reiterate how totally awesome this food market really is AND prove that it is an absolute must-do when visiting Copenhagen!

Like everything in Copenhagen, this market is top quality in terms of cleanliness, retailers, and overall atmosphere. But, also like everything in Copenhagen, that quality makes it a little pricier. Pricey for a food market, but definitely a cheaper meal in the grand scheme of things in Copenhagen.

But it’s totally worth a visit, don’t worry!

Brooklyn Flea Market

Marvelous Markets, pt. 2: Fort Greene Flea

Fort Greene Flea Market in Brooklyn

I foam at the mouth at any mention of markets. Farmer’s markets, flea markets, I love it all. Cheap flea markets are my happy place. So of course, I had to find one during my last trip to New York City.

After doing some research I decided that I had to check out the Fort Greene Flea Market in Brooklyn, which houses over 150 vendors every Saturday. It seemed like one of the best and most authentic market options in New York/Brooklyn. And I had the best time there!

Borough Market – London, England

Marvelous Markets, pt. 1: Borough Market – London

Borough Market – London, England

Do you love London? Do you love farmer’s markets? Do you love food? I’ll answer all of these for you: YES. Well, those happen to be 3 of my favorite things. Although I haven’t posted too much about it (because I honestly don’t even know where to begin) I’m OBSESSED with London. Plus I LOVE markets of all kind – whether that be food, produce, secondhand, flea, etc. And, obviously, this gal loves to eat too! And I’m really good at it. #moretolove

One of the (many) reasons London my favorite city is because it has TONS of markets. I haven’t been to all of them yet, but I have absolutely LOVED the ones I have been to! And one of the best London markets I’ve been to is Borough Market.
