This was HANDS DOWN the highlight of my weekend in Gothenburg, Sweden!!

🙌🏼 THE LINDHOLMEN STREET FOOD MARKET 🙌🏼

Only a short (and scenic) ferry ride from Gothenburg centre gets you to @lindholmenstreetfoodmarket , which honestly may be the cutest indoor market I’ve ever been to! It’s located in an old shipyard and is open every Saturday from 12-5pm. There’s tons of food options to choose, bars serving local beers, and even a few booths selling artisan goods! There’s a nice outdoor seating area in the sun and plenty of seating inside across 2 floors.

Food tickets cost ∼€10/ticket and each dish is 1 ticket. There’s also several bars within the market selling wine, beer, and spirits and those you can pay for drinks with cash or card.

The prices? Not to shabby! The live music? Amazing! The food? DELISH. The vibes? IMMACULATEEEEE 🤌🏼
I was so obsessed with all the decor! 🌈

This market was fab and absolutely has to be on any Gothenburg, Sweden itinerary!!! 🇸🇪

🇻🇳 8 dishes you simply MUST try in Vietnam 🇻🇳

Here are some of the best dishes I had in Vietnam + my recommendation of where to try them!!

1. Bún chả - pork meatballs served with rice vermicelli noodles, coriander, bean sprouts, sliced carrot, and crushed garlic. This was my #1 absolute FAVE dish out of everything I ate in Vietnam (bold statement, I know)
📍The BEST place for Bún chả is Bún Chả Đắc Kim in Hanoi, which happens to be in the Michelin Guide.

2. Kem Bo - Vietnamese avocado ice cream. Need I say more?! I cannot express how much I loved this stuff; I had it almost every night for dessert…
📍you can find it in most food markets!

3. Bò kho - basically a Vietnamese version of beef stew. Seriously so aromatic and tasty.
📍Pho Quynh in Ho Chi Minh City

4. Bun ca - I normally would not even think to go for fish noodles but WOW this fish noodle soup with rice vermicelli noodles topped with deep fried fish, dill, and spring onion absolutely slapped.
📍Bun ca Cay Si in Hanoi

5. Bún bò Huế - Pho’s spicier cousin. A spicy noodle soup made with beef AND pork, 2 kinds of chilis, lemongrass, shallots, garlic, and fish sauce.
📍The best place to have Bún bò Huế is where it originated – Huế!

6. Nộm bò khô - Green papaya salad with dried beef, herbs, and peanuts
📍Long Vi Dung in Hanoi

7. Cao lầu - a regional dish from Hoi An, and the city’s most famous dish! Smokey chewy noodles, char siu-style pork, herbs, savory broth, topped with crispy crackers and lettuce.
📍The best Cao lầu I had was at Tiệm Ăn Sáng Cô Nhị in Hoi An!

8. Pho - a CLASSIC!!! Who can forget good ol pho. It was my introduction to Vietnamese food and the reason I fell in love with it. And the pho just hits DIFFERENT in Vietnam. Always a 10/10.

Do NOT ask me how many I ate during my 48 hours in Gothenburg, Sweden because A. I lost track so I don’t know and B. If I DID know I would be too embarrassed to say

But let’s just say I FIKA-ed my 🍑 off

Some of my fave spots for a lil fika moment with a coffee and kanelbulle (Swedish cinnamon bun) or a kardemummabulle (Swedish cardamom knot) were:

POV you decide to spend €10 on a roundtrip ticket for the Gaia Cable Car in Porto, Portugal and these are the viewzzzzz 😍

The Gaia cable car is located on the Gaia side of the banks of the Douro River, right across from Porto, and offers AMAZING aerial views of Porto Old Town. From the cable car you can see the beautiful river, the Luis I Bridge, and the old town/Ribeira district of the city which is SO photogenic with its array of red roofs and historic churches.

The ride only lasts about 5 minutes but the views are 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

To get to the start of the cable car, take the metro to ‘Jardim do Morro’ station or just walk across the Luis I Bridge from Porto to Gaia and the station will be at the end of the bridge on the right.

Looking for a French roadtrip that includes a cool and fun city, a picturesque medieval village, a charming beachside town, AND a famous wine region speckled with chateaus alllll in a week? Then this Southwest France roadtrip itinerary starting in Bordeaux is ITTT 🍷🇫🇷🤌🏼

📌 Save this for your next trip to Bordeaux and I promise you will be THRIVIN

1️⃣ Start off in FABULOUS city of Bordeaux, eating and drinking your way around the city’s many amazing bars & restaurants, while seeing some gorgeous architecture & browsing some fabulous markets. Bordeaux is like a smaller, cleaner, & cuter Paris (I said what I said). J’obsessed!

2️⃣ Then drive 30 minutes to Saint-Émilion, a quintessential French village that looks straight out of a movie. Surrounding the tiny medieval village are thousands of acres of vineyards. Rent a bike through to cycle around the surrounding vineyards, & visit a chateaux (or two!) for a wine tour. In the village itself are so many wine shops and cute restaurants. But the The Cordeliers Cloister, an old convent turned outdoor bar, is a MUST MUST.

3️⃣ Next head to the coastal town of Arcachon to eat fresh seafood, wander around the winter villas, & swim in Arcachon Bay. From there it’s also a short drive to the Dune du Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe!

4️⃣ End the week in Saint-Estéphe in the Médoc region & live your best fancy French life, bopping around different chateaus & doing as many winery tours as your heart desires.

🚗 We rented a car through @loca_malin_bordeaux at Bordeaux Airport & it was probably the most pleasant car rental experience I’ve ever had!

This coastal Catalonia town is PERFECT for a day trip from Barcelona to escape the bustle of the city and take advantage of some seriously gorgeous beaches. The train takes only 40-45 and costs like €5 each way so like…it’s a no brainer ☀️
