Buku, I’ll Miss You: A Review of Buku Festival 2014

Buku Music + Arts Project 2014

Today, I sit in my desk at work. A year ago, however, I was on my way to New Orleans for BUKU Music + Arts Project 2014, a 2-day music festival with an EDM, hip-hop, and indie pop heavy lineup.

I recently did a post for Helene in Between reviewing my experience at BUKU 2014, but for those of you who missed it, and because I haven’t done a music post in a while, AND because I can’t stop thinking about it as I sit here at my desk, here’s another little recap.

Mardi Gras 2015 – New Orleans, LA

I know its THURSDAY and I have yet to post this week, and for that I am oh, so sorry. BUT! I have a great reason! I was in full-fledged Mardi Gras mode. It has been absolute madness here in my neck of the woods since Friday with all of the celebrations and parties and balls going on. Mardi Gras is the most magical, most insane, most fun, most wonderful time of the year here in Louisiana (or maybe the world in general). And New Orleans Mardi Gras 2015 was no exception!

Here is my recap and review of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, including all the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes you don’t wanna miss!

Which is exactly what happened on the lovely Saturday I found myself wandering the Quarter.

A Year in Review: Peace out 2014, it’s been real

Holy cow. When I look back on everything that happened in 2014, I am flabbergasted that it was all just 365 days! I am so blessed to have been to some amazing places and had some truly incredible experiences this year. Its been a whirlwind, including graduating college, visiting Cabo and the Bahamas, traveling through Europe for a month, attending several concerts and TWO overseas music festivals, starting my first “big girl job,” and, of course, beginning to blog regularly. Here is my 2014 in review and some highlights from every month of the year!
